HAPPY INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY IN POEM- Juliet Ike

Happy International Women's Day😍😍😍

You know what time it is😀😀
It's Tea time!
As well a gist time!

But not so much story, but an intro to the main gist!
But first, "Happy International Women's Day" to all amazing women out there!!!
If you're one of them reading this, just know "you're the big deal!"

8th March had been marked by United Nations as "The International Women's Day". One might be wondering, what's there to celebrate, but looking back to the terrain of man's metamorphosis, women seem to have played the most intriguing roles especially in procreation and socializing process. She's an epitome that can't be overlooked, because on her shoulders rests the welfare of the entire nation. Words alone can't quantify her, so permit put in poem some of her qualities and prowess.

WOMAN; A MAN POWER

Her testimony is like

The story of man whose

Genres changed from

Misery to mystery

She was mocked

Over and again

And caricatured

On how weak and

feebleminded she was

Termed later as one

With which social problems

Emanates as claimed to have

Held all emotional and mental

Leverage in bondage

Some said she's got

No potential

Neither was she potent

Enough no wonder

A man's rib formed

Up her entire being

But not withstanding their

Notions and mockeries

She stood out

To show her distinct

Characteristics hidden

Under the shadows of

Inequality and barbaric

Cultures

She's beau-ti-ful inside-out

Even The dimple on her face

Eases off every rumple

Buddled with her sample

A fool can't build her

No wonder it takes

A good architect to know

How to raise her personality up

Out of her breasts and sucklings

The entire universe had a framework

No wonder every being belongs to a

Class and is a genius

Cos the milk from her breasts

Are Calcium filled enough to make

Her offsprings brain run on sharp edges

She turns pains to gain
No wonder her brain is
Always on 2-4-7
Not only does 24/7 quantify her
Distinctiveness cos
Dignity and wisdom
Got her chilling

Oh have you ever took note

Of her fierce and fury when

Opposition stares at her like

A wong waiting for her to

Play along with failures and negativity

Ladies and Gentlemen
Men and brethren
Can you at least raise
A toast

To this wonder Queen

One with whom strength

Had been her watchword
Though not been observed
By The world

Because they've failed to make

Effective use of their eyes

To see the time bomb explode

I call her the man power!

(Still in the mood of celebration, do help me give a woman/lady/girl close to you a big hug, and tell them Julie loves them big😍😍😍😘)

JOIN US IN RENOVATING AN ORPHANAGE HOME- Blossom Eromosele

WE ARE LOVE Love, what is love?  A lot of times we say we love people until all the possible benefits we could get from them are removed.  What if all that was taken away? Would you still love them? Would you love someone you don't even know? Is love a passive statement or a verb to be acted out? There are approximately 52 million orphaned children in Africa and 17.5 million orphans right here in Nigeria.  Every single day this number increases, and instead of us to love and help them we have grown to consider it as part of the Nation's statics.  We forget that every child today is a potential leader tomorrow, and his tomorrow is a product of what happens in his today. At times, it is important we sit back and ask ourselves, "If this was my child, brother or sister, would I want someone to care enough to give to them".  If you would, then go out and do that for someone else's.   As much as we want to wait until we attain a certa...
