In no particular order, I present to you 8 OF AFRICA'S POWERFUL IMPACT LEADERS

1. IFEOMA SILVERLINE CHIJIOKE

Ifeoma Chijioke is a lover of God who is passionate about young people and their relationships with God as well with their partners.

A dedicated Teacher and Founder YOU AND YOURS NETWORK; an online community dedicated to helping people excel at love and life. She as well Covene the You and Yours Hangout, a singles meeting aimed at helping young people enjoy quality lives and relationships.

Ifeoma believes that everyone can and should enjoy a sweet, loving heaven-on-earth relationship.

SHE WROTE;

The process of finding your purpose may seem complicated, yet it is very simple.

For me, it started in 2017. I was a normal girl who just graduated from the University and had the "What next" question on my mind.

Nothing was clear; everything seemed hazy. I knew I had to carve out a niche for myself in this big world but I just didn't know how to go about it not until I paid more attention to details.

I was and still very passionate about love, relationships and family. Yeah! You can call me the Preacher of Love. I began to observe that a lot of my friends and colleagues came to me for one relationship tip or the other. To them I was the guru, but I felt I wasn't ready enough.

This circle continued until 2018 when I began my compulsory one-year National Service in Nigeria. I found myself deliberately speaking to Corp members like me about love and life. It was quite an eye-opening experience.

This formed the basis for who I am now. It was the spring board for all I have achieved so far, the lives that have been blessed through the You and Yours Network, and the relationships that have been restored.

I knew I needed more. Having mere head knowledge wasn't just enough. I looked deeper within me and tried to marry my personal experiences to my head knowledge. I also submitted myself to mentorship and began an entirely new learning journey and so far, it's  been amazing.

If you are at the crossroads of life, and wondering what exactly your purpose is, all you need to do is look deep within you and find out the problems that you are passionate about providing solutions to. I mean, a passion that leads you in a direction that seems larger than life itself.

I started out by just speaking to a few friends, then it developed into group audiences. Currently, it's becoming a fast-growing community.

As I walk step-by-step in my purpose, its gets clearer by the day and I am beginning to see the larger picture. To be honest, the larger picture of what I am called to do seems quite challenging and tasking but I will keep showing up and rising to the occasion because what's the use of starting if you plan to stop?

I hope you find your purpose really soon. I Can't wait to hear your own amazing results and testimonies.

Much Love.

2. RUTH ELLA RICHARD

She is a quintessential Teen Coach /Teacher. She shows teens and parents how to create a unique bond between themselves, via coaching/ mentoring sessions, trainings and workshops.

Her goal is to coach teenagers to become the leaders they aspire to be. She is the Founder Ruella Parenteen Hub, an online community, where she dishes practical parenting tips to parents and teen handlers.

She as well runs Ruella Company where she produces and supply liquid soaps and bleach.

SHE WROTE;

Self Discovery at every stage of life is a vital ingredient needed to spice up a person's purpose of living. It does not happen at once but a gradual process.

I grew up as a confused teenager not knowing exactly who I wanted to be, because everyone around me had their own ideology of what they think I should become or what they thought was best for me.

A Teacher once told me that being an accountant was best for me, whilst another posited that I will fit perfectly as a Nurse.

My Grandfather (of blessed memory) was  the only one who stated something very powerful that registered in my spirit. He said, "I think you should be a newscaster because you talk too much".

There was a very valid point there. I picked but changed the news casting to TV presenter. This inspired my discipline in school. The part of being a talkative didn't make much sense at the time until years later when I realised how soaked I had become in love and sharing of knowledge.

I discovered a certain feeling of fulfillment that engulfs me whenever I taught someone how to do a thing or solve a particular problem.

Most of the night I dreamt of standing and speaking in to a large crowd; in my dreams, it's  either I'm  teaching, preaching or singing; always before a crowd.

This shows I was crafted with a message for the world. It became clear to me that my passion is 'talking', yes, I love talking although a bit introverted.

This led me into asking myself Series of Questions on; how I could build something meaningful around talking. Later, I got the big question of "HOW" in 2018, and below were some of the steps I took to answer them;

๐Ÿ“Œ Start attending events, conferences, and seminars.

๐Ÿ“Œ Start socializing with people who you admire at events.

๐Ÿ“Œ Start being deliberate about your Facebook activities.

๐Ÿ“Œ Look at people with value-loaded profiles and follow them, observing how they do the things they do.

That was how I started honing my passion for speaking. The first audience I taught were young females due to my desire to reach out to young females especially teenagers, helping them to navigate through the challenges that comes with being a female gender. This inspired the founding of my NGO, The Valuable Woman (TVW). This was my first bold step. I took the step confused, not knowing how it will turn out.

To further equip me for opportunities ahead, I took to developing what I have -- my passion I knew that to turn my passion into a skill that would pay me, I  needed to undergo some form of personal development.
 I intentionally searched the internet for materials relating to speaking. I read books, practiced in front of my mirror and hosted events even when I knew I was still shy. I shared contents of diverse sorts, though inspiring, it didn't create the specific picture I wanted in the minds of my followers and prospects.

 Here comes a need to rediscover myself. This time I needed the help of a professional. Someone who has gone down the road before me. I met with the No.1 Teen Coach, Ibelema Greene, who took me on a mind mapping session that helped position me properly for visibility. This was during the last quarter as of 2019.

Simple implementation of the things I learnt from that mind-mapping session has simply helped me grow my skills the more these are the things it did for me:

๐Ÿ“Œ It made me discover my specific audience.

๐Ÿ“Œ It made me discover my message

๐Ÿ“Œ It made me discover ways I can be seen and heard.

Also,the kind of People you follow matters a lot. Who would ever think I would have the likes of Emeka Nobis, Kingsley Ime, Olumati Isaiah, Ibelema Greene, Serena Francis, Unwana Godsgift, Justina Anurika Godwin, Joyce Daniels, Juliet Ike, in my life as role models, friends, coaches and mentors?

Ruth Ella Richard

Quintessential Teen Coach/Teacher.
Founder, Ruella Parenteen Hub(Facebook community), a subsidiary of Ruella Company.

3. FAVOUR WHYTE

Favour Whyte is content creator,  author, unlimited writer, sales coach, talent to profit coach and inspirational speaker

He helps talented but confused people on how to discover their talents, fine-tune, package, market and sell it.

A highly sought after speaker who uses his story to guide others in achieving great things in life.

HE WROTE;

I have received several questions to how I became the Favour Whyte of today.

First of, I was a chronic stutter but I knew I could speak for a long time. Then I usually share my knowledge on football and politics.
I could as well write because I am a voracious reader.

All started 30th April, 2019 after I lost my job with Nigeria Breweries limited (NBL). It was just ten days to my first online book launch and it hit me like an hurricane.

Before then, I do not usually write on facebook or any social media platform but after the sack, I decided to take it serious as the online space was seeming as a Big deal!

In June that same year, I borrowed money from a friend to attend a program which had Speakers like Emeka Nobis, Kingsley Ime, K O Baba and George Essien.

That program helped me in ways I couldnt imagine. The impact was so evident that I was compelled into starting and hosting different online classes where I share and give valuable contents about life.

At first, some of my classes recorded no participants and others recorded about 2 or 3.
My personal development journey took a new turn when I decided to focus on talent monetization and so far I have held trainings with the likes of Emeka Nobis, Chisom Sandra, Sophia Ezenwa, Speaker Sam, Solomon Otah etc...and I plan on hosting even more.

Some of the few steps I took were;

๐Ÿ“ŒI spent time watching YouTube videos

๐Ÿ“ŒI listen to audios and podcasts of great men.

๐Ÿ“ŒI followed people like John Obidi, Steve Harris, Emeka Nobis, Paul Foh, Kingsley Ime, Mute Efe etc and learn from their experiences and knowledge.

๐Ÿ“ŒI asked God for Directions

๐Ÿ“ŒI prayed and had faith in my assignment

๐Ÿ“ŒI was humble to ask relevant questions

๐Ÿ“ŒI Collaborate and network

I have only started, and I know more are to come

4. AIGBONOGA GABRIELLA (HEIRESS OMOH)

Aigbonoga Omoh is a content writer, a motivational and inspirational speaker. She is also an event planner.

She is a firm believer in Christ Jesus and a kingdom ambassador who believes in the restoration of lives, hopes, dreams and destinies.

She has written several published and unpublished articles and other life changing master pieces on various social media handles and publication outlets.

She is the convener of Team Extraordinary (TEO), a platform where persons who belive in God and are intentional about their contributions to this world converge to receiver inspiration and guiding principles.

Aigbonoga Omoh is a purpose driven lady who is passionate about impacting lives and seeing that everyone around her lives an exceptional life.

SHE WROTE;

I grew up hating the obvious truth that I was getting tall.  Gosh! I hated it. I prayed to an unknown God regularly to make me short.

I would go to our other house where no one would see me to measure my height on the wall.

Afterwards, I would draw a mark to indicate where I was that day. Standing beside a shorter person, I would feel terrible. It was such an unpleasant experience.

As I grew, the game changed.

I transited in knowledge, self evaluation and appreciation. I learnt to receive and embrace everything about me and adjust where necessary.

I stopped seeking for affirmations and approval, I started my journey to self love.

I intentionally learnt to love this becoming lady.
Smiling freely.

I could comfortably get a bike ride to Zaris and sit alone on a table drinking and dining in my own company.

Friends, you have got to realise you were created because you're needed. God doesn't makes mistake. Stop those self pity games and explore life.

Your confidence isn't tied to the expensive cloth you wear or the 'Fendi' bag you're holding. It doesn't even rest on all the activities you display online and offline.

You could do this things and still lack Self Confidence.

It is solely tied to the measure of functional knowledge you've at your disposal. Reshape your thoughts by right knowledge of who you are.

Sometimes I just laugh when I see some persons do some funny things in a bid to get attention or prove a baseless point.

It only displays a high degree of ignorance of whom God has patterned us to be.

Self Discovery is the ability to be who you're and be comfortable being that way even in the midst of contrary characters.

You don't BREAK THE RANK.

At the end, we would grow and life would be better. We would discover how unique we are as much as others are.

We would celebrate one another with the much love we have received of the Lord.

The Top is ours. Fear not: it is big enough to contain our greatness.

6. GRACE AKOWE

Grace Akowe is a prolific writer, editor and a speaker, convener Coffee with Grace where she shares and emits her writs and inspire young people to make meanings of their lives.

She's a graduate of Kogi state University, Anyigba, from the department of English and literary studies.

SHE WROTE;

I heard people these words; Personal Discovery over and again as I grew but I realized the echoes of it gives me a kind of unrest in a way I didn't quite feel was a normal thing.

As a teenager, I had wanted to make IMPACT but I was confused because I didn't know how to "discover" my own sphere.

I have heard teachers and motivational speakers say a common thing and it's usually like, "there's always one thing that keeps you up at night. That thing, is your purpose"

Well, I got up one day and realized it was definitely going to be music. As of then, it seemed like I found peace e mingreat love for music. Subsequently, I realized that music wasn't my primary, I was confused as to how convinced I was but I just let it be.

So, subsequently, I realized it was "ushering" in church and modelling outside church. Funny, right? Hahaha. You know, if I stood as an usher in the church, I had the energy to smile and welcome people with sweetness and as per the modelling aspect, someone once told me, "Grace, you are too beautiful. You have a perfect stature. You should be a model" and it made sense!

Again, there was unrest. I wanted God to open the windows of heaven and scream it out loud saying, "thou, my child, are meant to do this so so so thing in exactly so so so ways" but nothing like that ever happened!

I would save you the details at this point because that's just meant to help you know I once struggled so hard, too but....

Most times, we make this purpose discovery thing look hard and ambiguous and so, we despise even the little things that we do hoping that something "better" and "bigger" would be revealed to us.

Let me give an instance:

Lady A and Lady B are friends. Lady A is a singist while lady B is an entrepreneur. Lady B is renowned entrepreneur and according to her, she had discovered purpose and she's been known worldwide.

Lady A on the other hand knows she's a great singer but wouldn't do anything about it but has all her attention fixed on Lady B who was successful and doing well and hence, works towards being an entrepreneur, too.

Do you get the gist?

Thing is, Lady A would struggle all her life for considering her gift "too irrelevant" and too infinitesimal to turn out to be a hit someday as much as Lady B.

I could write. I could use words to play and make meaningful melody to the hearts of people but why didn't it ever cross my mind that what I had in my hand was a tool?

We reject little things, running after vagues and that is why it keeps getting difficult.

Our purpose is in those little things we ignore, the seemingly little things we know we can do best but are self assured wouldn't lead us anywhere. Many of us prefer to "be like" people that we are not meant to even model our lives after and like that, we'd continue to struggle all our lives!

The parable of the talent, the problem with the guy that was given one talent was not that he was given one but the problem is, even if he was given 10, it'd still not be enough for him.

Perhaps, he felt like one talent was not enough or that that little he had with him was capable of setting the world on fire and hitting it like a tornado! He didn't believe!

It could be just your smile.
It could be your writing, it could be an ability to associate quickly, or ability to sell, anything - just pay attention!

Let me also add that you shouldn't put your life on hold because, according to you, you've not discovered purpose. That'd not be wisdom at all. Live, live, and live to the fullest. It'd make sense gradually and gradually, it'd make a whole!

Thank you!
